Nutra creative compliance checklist for Thailand
A pre-launch checklist for health creatives: what you can claim, what gets an ad account killed, and how to rewrite a banned hook so it still sells.
Pre-flight check
Review before launch
Decision summary
- No cure, treatment, diagnosis or disease-prevention claims — ever, in any language.
- No invented reviews, doctors, clinics, celebrities, logos or government endorsements.
- Sell the situation and the benefit, not a medical outcome.
- Rejections are cheaper before launch than after an account loss.
Run this list before the ad goes up
Health advertising is the most heavily policed category on every major platform, and Thailand's own advertising rules for supplements are strict. The checklist below is the fast pass; the full rules live on the compliance page.
- Does any line promise to cure, treat, heal, diagnose or prevent a disease? Remove it.
- Does the copy name a condition — diabetes, hypertension, cancer, arthritis? Remove it.
- Is there a doctor, nurse, clinic, hospital, pharmacy or ministry implied or shown? Remove it.
- Are the reviews real and attributable? Invented testimonials are prohibited.
- Do before/after visuals imply a guaranteed or medical result? Replace them.
- Does the ad use a countdown, a fake system alert or a fake news layout? Remove it.
- Does the price and the COD term appear before the form? Add it.
- Do the ad, the pre-lander and the offer page all say the same thing? Align them.
Rewriting a banned hook
A compliant creative is not a weaker creative. It moves the promise from a medical outcome to a lived situation, which is usually what the buyer recognises anyway.
| Prohibited | Compliant rewrite |
|---|---|
| Cures joint disease in 7 days | For people whose knees complain on the stairs |
| Doctors in Bangkok recommend it | Formulated with commonly used ingredients, delivered nationwide |
| Lose 10 kg guaranteed | Support your routine while you work on your goal |
| Normalizes blood sugar | Part of a daily habit for people who watch what they eat |
| Clinically proven miracle | Popular with buyers across Thailand, cash on delivery |
Lead quality is a compliance issue too
Compliance is not only about wording. Traffic that produces leads nobody can confirm damages the offer for everyone on it, and the advertiser reacts by cutting caps or the payout.
- No incentivised submissions or prize mechanics.
- No bot or generated traffic, and no purchased contact lists.
- No misleading pre-checked consent or hidden form submits.
- No brand bidding on advertiser or network terms.
- No cloaking of the page the reviewer sees against the page the buyer sees.
Get the creative reviewed first
Send new angles to your manager before spending on them. A five-minute review costs nothing; an account lost to a claim you could have rephrased costs weeks. Advertisers also verify product documentation on their side, so a claim your creative makes has to be one the product can actually support.
